It all started in 2017 with a trip to Morocco. Hannah, the founder, fell in love with the raffia shoes offered by the street traders in Marrakech. She was blown away by the attention to detail and the naturalness of the "Babouches". Back in Germany she opened her first online shop and started selling the typical Moroccan shoes. In a workshop in Essaouira, each shoe is made by hand and with a lot of love. She always makes sure that the people who weave the shoes work under humane conditions, get paid fairly and only good, natural materials are used.
